John provides business valuation services for divorce, estate and gift tax, shareholder/owner buy-sell agreements and transactional purposes. For divorce purposes, he is many times hired by all parties involved in the divorce as a neutral business appraisal expert, and has excellent success with divorces being settled based upon his work without the significant expense and unknown result of the matter being litigated at trial.
He believes this approach is especially helpful when children are a part of a divorce, as the parents of these children will continue to have interaction after the divorce, and mutually agreeing to a fair settlement based on John’s work as a neutral expert enhances the ability of the parents to be able to work in a cooperative manner in continuing to raise their children in the future.
John also provides litigation support services, including calculations for lost profits/economic damages and owner/shareholder dispute claims. He performs forensic accounting services as needed to develop credible opinions for the business valuation and litigation support services he provides.

A Proud Family Man
John was raised from an early age in the small Mississippi River town of Louisiana, Missouri. Here he learned the value of family, honesty, hard work, and how to treat people with courtesy and respect. He attended the University of Missouri-Columbia in the 1980s where he met his wife, Laura. Laura is a certified personal fitness trainer.
In his free time, John really enjoys spending time outdoors. He is passionate about hunting, fishing, hiking, and working in his yard at home.
John and Laura have two children, and a son-in-law, of whom they are extremely proud. The oldest child, their daughter Jessica, is married to their son-in-law Jeff. Jessica is employed as a Web Designer for an international bridal company and Jeff works as an Enterprise Account Executive for an international technology company. The youngest child, their son Patrick, works for an international technology company in Boston as a Software Engineer.
